What a fantastic start to the term we have all had! Last Thursday, the children had their annual trip to the Westmorland Show, and despite the drizzly weather, everyone had a fantastic time! Whilst looking around the show, it allowed Class 2 to do some research regarding their current Geography topic “Sow, Grow and Farm” and for them to expand in their already growing knowledge of framing in the UK. Whereas Class 1 gathered information throughout the day to help them with their morning writing, and for then to expand their vocabulary and allow then to describe their day in detail.
